Michael Hehir of the Royal Irish Constabulary

Following up on the Hehir family, I used Ancestry.com to find Michael's history of service. His brother Daniel had enlisted from County Clare in 1837 at age 21. Michael enlisted a full ten years later.

Michael also enlisted from County Clare and was 23 at the time of enlistment.

Our family history indicates that he died at Lajore, India. My new quest is to find a record of his burial place and the circumstances of his death.
